Elena Melissidi was born at Trikala. She began her studies on piano and theory in early age at the Trikala Municipal Conservatory.

In 1996 she came to Athens in order to continue her studies in classical singing and advanced theory. She was a member of the Choir of Trikala for many years and she took part in various concerts in Greece and abroad.
